135cm Victorian Iron Half-Tester

Magnificent, early Victorian Iron Half-tester bedstead.  A ‘full house’ model complete with all original fittings and mounts.  These include a ‘D-Boom’ canopy, support ‘wings’ and headboard post stabilisers to compensate the headboard posts for the weight of even the heaviest drapes.

The fine detail in the cast panels comes courtesy of their sand-cast origins, indeed each mould was made up from scratch each time this model of bedstead was produced.

Prices quoted include full renovation and extension where indicated.  This bedstead can therefore be adapted to suit most modern tastes of size, style of drapes and frame finishes.
